Day 1
So here we are... hard to believe. The flight left at 06:30 so we had to be at the airport early. Entry into New Zealand went smoothly and we arrived in Queensland City in no time at all.
Even the approach over Lake Wakatipu was great.
Then we drop our bags off at the hotel and off we go to the Nomads Hotel in the centre of the city. It's actually a hostel, but it also has rooms with bathrooms. Doesn't it look great here on the Queenstown promenade?
Now we needed some refreshments at the Thai restaurant. We now also have a SIM card from New Zealand and an ice cream from the Patagonia Ice Creamery. Now it's time for a break.
The Winery
Great New Zealand wines. A rent a glass concept, you get a card and then leave the wine out of the system at the end you pay what is registered on the card. The Winery Queensland.
