You get a few things done and a month has passed. What's been going on in the meantime? Of course we had a lot to do to tidy everything up and buy a few things. Now everything is set up and we feel very comfortable. Firstly, there was the general meeting of the Club Suisse de Maurice in Port Louis. We went to the football match with Uwe and Birgit, the Africa Cup between Mauritius and Chad. Mauritius was unfortunately eliminated. Then we had a great Easter brunch with our friends from the north-west, before that we had another cyclone which fortunately only developed into a storm. The guest rooms are now ready for occupancy and have been tested and approved. The Big Green Egg also works well here and we have found some good local charcoal. The first pizza not only looks good, it tastes good too. Tea is also grown on the island, we have already tested the restaurant and found it to be good. Our trip to Asia starts soon, on 26 April, and we are already looking forward to it.

The SCM AGM in Port Louis
We held our AGM at the Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel, followed by dinner and an overnight stay. The hotel manager Rolf Schmid generously supports the club and we got a great room at a special price. We are slowly getting to know the members and are able to integrate.
