Saturday was a changeover day and we travelled from Le Morne to the north-west of the island in just under two hours. We received a friendly welcome from Belraj and were invited to dinner in Port Louis. The accommodation is big enough for the two of us and is located in a villa neighbourhood.
In the evening, we went for dinner on the beach at Trou aux Biches.
Shopping in the La Gaulette shopping centre with more than 60 shops is no different to here. At lunchtime we had Indian food again.
Yes, tandoori chicken again, when it's on offer.
Freddy is coming on Monday
Freddy is due to visit Rodriges tonight before coming to Mauritius. Winds of up to 120 km/h and heavy rain are expected. We'll see, 24 hours later he'll be with us, probably 200-300 kilometres away. It won't be that bad, they're all very relaxed here.
