is our destination today, so we leave after breakfast and drive to Rex Lookout. At the Mowbray River Foot Bridge you can see crocodiles. But only on the bigger screen at home. They were quite far away. We continue to Flagstaff Hill Lookout in Port Douglas. We walk down to the platform with the best view of 4 Mile Beach. Afterwards we have lunch in the harbour, at the Tin Shed restaurant. Stop again at the crocodiles, now there is only one left. A short stop at Ellis Beach is also nice, then we drive back to Cairns.
