We fly from Adelaide to Melbourne and then on to Hobart, the capital of Tasmania. Our accommodation is close to Elisabeth Street, which extends into the harbour. We arrive in the evening and go shopping and then to a restaurant, it wasn't easy to choose from the huge selection.

Hobart also has a good mix of old and new buildings. In the morning we took the bus up to Mount Wellington at 1271 metres. It was quite windy and cold. But the view of the bay and Hobart is impressive.
With the double-decker tour bus, you can visit cities efficiently with a commentary and it was already evening and there were wonderful fish & chips in the harbour.
