Punctually at 9:00 a.m. Raj Gopaul picked us up in Trou from Biches.
The first stop was at the church of Notre-Dame Auxiliatrice de Cap Malheureux, which also forms the North Cape of Mauritius.

We continue to the largest freshwater reservoir La Nicolière, on the way to PortLouis there were beautiful viewpoints and a Tamil Hindu temple to marvel at.

We continue to the Citadelle (Fort Adelaide) above Port Louis, the fortress was started by the French and the English then finished building it.






Then there was the Dodo Museum with the national animal of Mauritius.
