The 51 days here in Mauritius have flown by. Looking back, the pictures speak for themselves. It’s great here and apart from our family and our friends, we didn’t miss anything. You can really buy everything here for money (except for the lactose-free yoghurt). The shopping malls are well stocked and are spread all over the island. The road network is better than expected and you get used to left-hand traffic after some time. There is a lot of construction going on everywhere and the growth can be seen everywhere, whether good or bad remains to be seen. The health care system has been tested and found to be good. We will definitely come back to the island.
It is not yet really comprehensible for us, we don’t have to go home after the “holidays”. Oh yes, we can’t go home anyway, because we can’t live in the warehouse where our belongings are stored.
Now we are looking forward to the adventure in Australia, we will continue to report then.
