Wilsons Promontory National Park

We drive along the coast from Phillip Island north to Wilsons Promontory National Park. Our accommodation is very idyllic and quiet a little off the road. The sunrise was a great start to the day. After our arrival we drive to the Prom Wildlife Walk, somewhere on the road a larger parking lot and only one car, three people come towards us, then we are alone. Our landlady told us to go to the clearing right at the beginning, great tip, we see a small herd of Kangaroo’s right away. It is a great place, most of the animals are marked, but live freely, no fence or demarcation. The animals are not disturbed, two or three meters distance are no problem. We are thrilled.

Mt. Bishop

It was a nice hike over almost 8 km and 300 meters of altitude, not exactly Vrenelisgärtli like Okle’s (we congratulate on the great performance) but we had a nice view.
