Oops, one day too many planned

So this morning I looked at the planning again, oh MISTAKES in the planning !!!
Shock! We’re flying tonight, so to be exact 20 minutes after midnight and that’s already the 29th. One day too many planned… Well, luckily still noticed. Then first install VPN for China, without which many sites on the Internet are not accessible, they are blocked by the “Great Firewall”. Not to be confused with the Great Wall, but we still see it. Already activate the e-SIM and of course check in. We booked Air China, it was actually quite easy, but check in, you have to have experienced that, with all airlines the booking code and name is required, possibly add something done. Not so with the Chinese, first you have to enter: surname/first name, booking number, e-ticket number, departure city, flight number and place of arrival, if an information is missing or not in the right format (slash at the name) nothing works. Then you think, so it goes on, yes you think… Then you have to log in, with your last name first name (of course without / and in a different order) in addition now with passport number. In the meantime there is a timeout and it starts all over again. I’ll spare you the rest and the many curse words now. After more than an hour came the SMS with the checkin confirmation. Hopefully it will be easier to fly.

After so much excitement, a refreshment is urgently needed, we set off and cross the highway over the imposing Saloma Bridge, behind it hides a quarter with many restaurants and there is Nasi Lemak. The Malaysian breakfast with rice cooked in coconut milk, fried anchovies, a spicy sauce, boiled egg and side dish, we decided on chicken, plus tea with condensed milk. A wonderful start to the day, which began for Sylvia with a fresh mango juice.

Somehow the jet lag is still in our bones and tonight, then another night flight, so first we have to rest and do some things.

Slowly you could eat something again… Sylvia loves laksa and curry laksa, for Markus there is beef redang, which is a braised beef, which is then plucked and mixed with a great sauce, served with nasi lemak because otherwise you don’t get it like here.

On the way home we pass a huge bookstore, there was a book about weaving ribbons and a book with over 60 different laksa’s.

It’s already time and we set off for the airport, we take another Grap for an hour’s drive we don’t pay 20 CHF unbelievable. There wasn’t much going on, in just half an hour we are already at the gate.
