The 51 days here in Mauritius have flown by. Looking back, the pictures speak for themselves. It's great here and apart from our family and friends, we haven't missed a thing. You can really buy everything for your money here (apart from the lactose-free yoghurt). The shopping centres are well stocked and are spread all over the island. The road network is better than expected and you get used to the left-hand traffic after a while. There is a lot of construction going on everywhere and growth can be seen everywhere, whether good or bad remains to be seen. The healthcare system has been tested and found to be good. We will definitely come back to the island.
We can't really grasp it yet, we don't have to go home after the "holidays". Oh well, we can't go home anyway, because we can't live in the warehouse where our belongings are stored.
We are now looking forward to the adventure in Australia and will report back.
