We are back in the north of Mauritius, more precisely in Roche Terre. We've rented a flat on the 1st floor from Donatien. We have the garden and pool to ourselves - it's great here.
Now, on our second visit, everything has become even easier because a lot of things are already familiar. We first settled in, went shopping and then went shopping again. Now the fridge is full again, just like at home. We've even baked our own bread. We haven't found a really clever gravy yet, so we make our own, buy bones, tomato puree and vegetables and off we go. The attempt to make a lactose-free yoghurt was also successful, so we will be having yoghurt for breakfast again in future, although the bread turned out well too. We've even found a perforated baking tray, which will be used tomorrow. So we're doing really well here, we haven't even had time to go to the beach yet.
