In the centre of the city, Kings Park and the botanical gardens, everything is just a bit bigger here. We walked into the harbour, which is where we'll leave for Rottnest Island on Saturday.
The fascinating thing about the city is the really well-preserved historical buildings in the middle of the modern buildings.

We round off the day with a Campari soda in the Shadow Wine Bar. The Bordeaux blend was good; a little too sweet for our taste.
