The walk up the 200 metre high Mt Victoria was rewarded with a beautiful view of Wellington. The beach at Oriental Bay is mainly used by dog owners for training and the Carter Memorial Fountain looks similar to ours in Geneva.

Merino hudi and long trousers, wasn't really too warm, but there were kiwis in the water... Well, if you like it.

The promenade is popular on Saturday and it has a harbour crane ship, the pictures were of course immediately sent to the harbour crane Max in Wangen.

At Pier 22 we had a chicken burger and a pilsner in the Wellington autumn sun.
Sylvia has taken some time off today and is curing her cold. Tomorrow we'll take the cable car and enjoy the view from the other side.
Cable Car
We take the cable car (yes, Sylvia is back again today) up the mountain and walk down to the botanical gardens and then into the harbour.

And who invented it, or rather built it.... the Swiss...

You can also see down to Wellington from this side.

Botanical Garden
In the harbour district we had tacos and a beer in the sun...wonderful.

Wow great pictures and also colours.... 🙂 happy to look!
We already wish you a great holiday on the Fidgi's
Kind regards
Monti & Andy
