In the morning (as early as 8 am) you will be picked up from the hotel and drive about 40 minutes to Xianggong Hill (Husband Mountain). The ascent to the summit takes about 15 minutes, where you will be amazed by the breathtaking view of the Li River and the surrounding karst mountains. Well, we are excited, we are not disappointed, about 350 stairs later we have the whole splendour in front of us, where we sailed through yesterday with the river steamer, we can see the whole scenery from above.

Afterwards we are predicted a longer journey of around 3 hours, so the stall with the fresh kumquats is just right, and we can even wash them briefly in the backyard. They taste wonderful, fresh and sweet at the same time. We have been driving past the plantations for a while and have seen that they are being harvested here. It couldn't be fresher.

The journey was shorter than expected and we arrived at the entrance to the park, where we again needed a ticket. We stayed at the Baike Boutique Hotel in Ping'an, all made of wood, and again we got an upgrade. We were shown to the best room, which was tastefully decorated in the local style

There are also people taking photos in local costume, just like everywhere else at the sights. The two ladies are clearly enjoying themselves.

Now it's time to explore the area of the Longji rice terraces, we let ourselves be driven up the mountain and then hike comfortably along a beautiful hiking trail to the viewing tower and from there back to the hotel, the way down is again over countless stairs, but the great view of the rice terraces compensates us completely.

We go out again for dinner and get rice cooked in bamboo and beef on a hot iron plate in a family restaurant. It was very good and we fall into bed tired. Our last night in China.
