It is almost 5 hours to drive, we interrupted the drive at the Pukaha National Wildlife Centre and had everything shown to us at the Pukaha National Wildlife Centre.
When we left it was still dark, the sun only rose on the way.
On the way there was a great rainbow to see.
Pukaha National Wildlife Centre
Here, birds and plants are shown in a large forest on over 900 hectares. There is also a kiwi breeding station here.
The kiwi eggs are almost as big as the duck eggs, in the dark behind a glass pane there was no more to get out, but there is a kiwi on it.
Longfin eels, which are only found in New Zealand, are fed with a spoon.
Remutaka Crossing Lookout
The road over Remutaka Hill winds up to 555m, at the viewpoint, which also reminds us of the 60,000 soldiers who marched through here between 1915 and 1919, the visibility is limited, but we have a good weather forecast for the next few days in Wellington.
