Now we are members of the Swiss Club in Mauritius. On Sunday we had a nice brunch in beautiful Port Chambly. We still have to train French to improve communication. The club always has events where we meet on the beach for a BBQ. Ruedi and Sheila do a great job, Ruedi always informs in the WhatsApp group when something is important.
Friends on a visit
Our CH-DE troop was visiting, Birgit, Linda, Uwe and Mike came with many gifts and of course also with bread and salt, thank you very much. There were small aperitif rolls, even with pretzels ????, fish with spinach and egg, for the main course: beef fillet, herb butter with fries from the Airfryer (worked well…) and for dessert Fotzelschnitten with apple sauce.
Carnival in Basel
In Basel isch Fasnacht, bi uns het’s Mählsuppe gäh und Faschtewähe. Mir hän dr Morgestraich gluegt und natürlich Guggekonzärt d’Räpplispalter ganz toll. Schitzelbängg bis dem Abbecke. Many Dangg for the impressions where I have to see all the site.
Tropical Storm Eleanor
This storm season is now the third storm in our region. Fortunately, Eleonor has not developed into a cyclone. It comes very close to the east coast, but does not hit the island. Tonight it is gone again and moves further southeast.
